Konohagakure is the village which contains ninjas and a school that is like a battlefield. There are students in training who all cooperate in teams of 3 and they all have a common goal: in order to become the greatest ninja of the land! But within this very village, as it ages, there are legends which reveal the past and create the present & future.
Long ago, a demon known as the 9-tailed fox strucked the village of Konohagakure. It caused destruction and deaths to many people. Then, the 4th Hokage, the current leader of the village, sealed away the 9-tailed fox in a baby boy named Naruto Uzumaki, even though his own life was ceased away. Now, Naruto, as he grows up, has a goal to become Hokage, the leader of the village and to become the greatest ninja ever! Facing new rivals, teaming up with new friends, and fighting battles that could change one's strength!

Naruto Uzumaki: An ambitious and very hyper kid. Naruto has a dream of becoming Hokage, the greatest ninja in the land so people can stop disrespecting him and realize who he really is. Naruto has always been lonely and ignored by people in the past because of the fact that he has the 9-tailed fox sealed inside of him. When it comes to becoming the greatest ninja, he would do whatever it takes to surpass his rivals.
Sasuke Uchiha: The top ninja of Konohagakure village, also known as, the future heir. Sasuke has amazing techniques for fighting but he's willing to surpass all of his rivals just like Naruto. If there's anyone who's better than Sasuke, he would try hard to compete with them and prove his strength. Of course, Sasuke has to deal with Naruto trying to catch up to his own stamina, which both annoys and suprises him.
Sakura Haruno: The smartest kunoichi (female ninja) of the village. Sakura is able to pass every test with no problem and understands everything she learns better than anyone else. She has a major crush on Sasuke but has a hard time winning him over. She dislikes Naruto very much but eventually sees his improving strength. Sakura gets protected a lot by her friends but takes a step up one day and becomes a little stronger.
Kakashi Hatake: A Jonnin (top ranked ninja) who is in charge of squad 7: Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Kakashi is a mysterious ninja behind the mask of his. He is known as "The Ninja Who Copied Many Jutsus" because of his Sharingan, a powerful trait developed in his eyes which can copy the move of any Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's squad was the first squad EVER to pass Kakashi's test in order to prove themselves as Genin.
Iruka: A Chunnin (mid ranked ninja) who is like a father to Naruto. Just like him, Iruka also suffered lonlieness and ended up doing crazy things to get attention. He is the acedemy teacher for the ninja who are beginners and are on their way to becoming Genin (first level ninja). He is very caring for his students, especially Naruto.
Hokage: Translated as 'Fire Shadow'. The Hokage is the leader of Konohagakure village, the Village of the land of fire, hidden in the leaves. In other nations, there are different leaders with their own element before the name "kage", meaning shadow itself such as Mizukage, or Kazekage... The Hokage is ranked the top of all ninja and they wield extreme power.
Orochimaru: One of the antagonists. Orochimaru is... mysterious and has a tendency to be as creepy as death. He is one of the 3 Tsanin (legendary ninjas), and has mastered many types of jutsu's, even one as shocking as reincarnating back from the dead. The main symbol revolving around Orochimaru is the snake. He is a dangerous character and can only be faced by the power of another Tsanin.

Naruto was an excellent anime either way in both anime/manga. It all aligns on the same plot but still has their great shinobi battle techniques. Just like Dot Hack Legend, this anime brings me in suspense as I watch each episode and read each chapter.
